Refund & Cancellation Policy
Last updated: 24 June 2026
This policy explains how trials, charges, cancellations, and refunds work. It reflects how the service actually bills you — see the pricing page for plans.
1. Free trial
New subscriptions start with a 14-day free trial that unlocks full Guru-level access. We place a payment method on file but do not charge you during the trial. If you do nothing, the trial ends and you are not charged automatically — you choose a paid plan to continue.
2. After the trial
When the trial ends, access is paused at a paywall until you convert to a paid plan. On conversion your selected plan begins and recurring billing starts for that plan (monthly or annual, as chosen).
3. Cancellation
You can cancel at any time from your subscription settings or the Stripe billing portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for — you keep access until then, and you are not charged again. We do not pro-rate or refund the unused remainder of a period that has already been paid, except where required by law.
4. EU right of withdrawal (distance selling)
As a consumer in the EU you generally have a 14-day right to withdraw from a distance contract. Because the service begins with a no-charge trial, in practice no payment is taken until you actively choose a paid plan after the trial. If you are charged and wish to exercise a statutory withdrawal right, contact us (§6) and we will process it in line with applicable consumer law; note that the right may be limited once a billing period of a digital service has begun with your consent.
5. Refunds
Outside the statutory cases above we do not generally offer refunds for partial periods. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us and we will investigate and correct genuine billing mistakes.
